Students delight audience at Harris Festival of Music

HGAED Students Shine at the Harris Festival of Music

Students from HGAED took to the stage at the Harris Festival of Music held at Fairfields Halls in Croydon, joining talented young musicians from across the Harris Federation for an unforgettable evening of performance.

We are incredibly proud of our Samba Band and Orchestra, who represented the academy with confidence, enthusiasm and exceptional musical skill. Performing in front of an audience of hundreds, our students demonstrated the dedication and hard work they have invested throughout the year.

The event showcased the power of music to bring young people together, with students from across the federation collaborating to create a truly inspiring celebration of talent and creativity.

A special thank you goes to Ms J Stewart, Head of Music, and Ms K Reid, Music Teacher, whose passion, commitment and expertise have helped our students develop both their musical abilities and confidence as performers. Their hard work behind the scenes played a vital role in making this opportunity such a success.
