We recognise and celebrate all our students successes and actively promote celebrating each other's achievements. Kindness and respect are central to everything we do and we actively reward students demonstrating character, courage and conscience.

Celebrating excellent attendance and punctulity 

We know showing up everyday, on time sets students up for success and we ensure our students know this is valued. We have weekly rewards for 100% attendance and punctuality and our students love collecting their prize; a hot drink and pastry of choice.

Positive Points

Our students earn postive points for excellent behaviour, exemplary manners and being a valued member of the school community. Parents can view positive points and comments via our My Child at School app.

Principal's Breakfast

Every week we celebrate students who have made a significant and positive impact through our Principal's Breakfast. This is an oppotunity to meet the Principal and discuss a wide range of topics that the students choose. It is always the highlight of Ms Young's week.

HGAED Heroes

Every half term we celebrate every student with exceptional attendance, behaviour and punctuality. We call these students our HGAED heroes and they receive a personalised letter from the Principal and a breaktime treat.

Reward Events

We publicly celebrate our students through assemblies and our annual Subject Awards Evening, where students are recognised for their exceptional academic and personal achievements. We run a 3C;s (Character, courage and conscience) award monthly where a class are nominated by the classroom teacher for their exceptional focus and teamwork.
