The Academy Day
The school is open to welcome students from 7.30am each school day. Our library and canteen are open from 7.30am and students are welcome to come along and enjoy a free breakfast.
Our library is open until 5.30pm Monday to Wednesday and 4.30pm on Thursday and Friday. Students can access extra-curricular clubs and our library after school every day.
Students arriving to school after 8.27am but before registers close at 9am are recorded as L (late arrival) in the school register. Students arriving after 9am are recorded as U (absent) for the morning in the school register.

Timings of the Day
All students must be on site by 8.25am.
Lessons begin at 8.30am and the school day ends at 3.10pm for Key Stage 3 Students, which totals 33 hours 20 minutes per week.
Year 11 students have an extended day on a Monday (until 4.10pm) and Thursday until (3.30pm) which totals 34 hours 40 minutes per week.
