GCSE Religious Studies Students Experience the Magic of Rome

GCSE Religious Studies students recently enjoyed an unforgettable educational visit to Rome, where they explored some of the world's most famous historical and religious landmarks.

During the trip, students visited the magnificent Colosseum, learning about the history of Ancient Rome and experiencing first-hand the scale of one of the greatest architectural achievements of the Roman Empire. They also had the opportunity to visit St Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, where they were inspired by its breathtaking artwork, stunning architecture and deep religious significance.

Alongside their studies, students embraced Italian culture by enjoying authentic Italian pizza and spending time exploring the beautiful streets and squares of Rome. From ancient ruins to magnificent churches, every day offered new opportunities for learning and discovery.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to bring Religious Studies to life outside the classroom, helping students deepen their understanding of faith, history and culture while experiencing the unique magic of Rome. The trip was a memorable experience for all involved and one that students will remember for years to come.
