Y7 Enjoy the magic of Harry Potter World
Year 7 Step into the World of Fantasy at Harry Potter Studios
Our entire Year 7 cohort enjoyed a magical visit to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter as part of their English curriculum and their study of the Fantasy unit.
The trip gave students the opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life as they explored the incredible sets, costumes, props and special effects used to create the Harry Potter films. Throughout the day, students completed a range of curriculum-linked activities, using their Harry Potter passports to guide them around the studios, collect stamps and complete challenges as they explored the world of filmmaking and fantasy storytelling.
From stepping into the Great Hall to discovering the secrets behind some of the most memorable scenes, students were able to see first-hand how writers, designers and filmmakers work together to build believable fantasy worlds.
Every student thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was wonderful to see Year 7 learning together, asking questions and sharing in the excitement of the day. A truly magical way to enrich their study of Fantasy and inspire their own creative writing!
