Federation Rounders Champions

On Tuesday 9 June 2014, Harris Girls Academy East Dulwich hosted a Harris Federation Rounders tournament that saw ten teams from across the Federation enjoy a competitive day of rounders in the sunshine to take the glory of Federation Rounders winners 2014.

HGAED were the only all-female team entered and came up against some strong competition. However, through excellent, determined and skilful play, they found themselves in the final against last year’s winners, Harris City Academy Crystal Palace.

In this game, they met their match as HCACP were a very strong team with some excellent fielding play. However, HGAED played equally as well and at the final whistle, the score was HGAED 4 ½ - HCACP 4 making us Harris Federation Rounders Winners 2014.

Well done to all the girls that took part. It was an excellent day and a pleasure to see such talented game play.
