Today marks the last day of Anti-Bullying Week, and we’re learning how to recognise when someone might be experiencing bullying. Look out for changes in mood, behaviour, confidence, or friendships and always speak to a trusted adult if you’re worried about someone.

General Election 2015 - Meet the Candidates

Year 9 Citizenship students at Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich are organising their own general election on May 7, to mirror the national election.

Candidates for eight parties - Conservative, DUP, Green, Labour, Liberal Democrat, Plaid Cymru, SNP and UKIP - will campaign around the school competing for students' votes.

Candidates chose their parties from a hat and are campaigning on five issues: education, crime, welfare, health and the environment. All students in the school will vote on May 7. Each candidate is supported by a campaign manager.

Listen to an interview with House Coordinator Virginie Clarke on why we're holding our own general election on May 7."The idea behind the election is to instil in students the importance of voting and help them understand the democratic process," she says.

Will the HGAED majority vote be the same as the new democratically elected government?
