A Level and CTEC Level 3 Results 2022

HGAED1We're delighted to share the news of our A level and CTEC level 3 outcomes with you all.

We’re so proud of our Year 13 leavers and their fantastic results. We have the highest percentage of exam-assessed grades at A* to B or equivalent in over five years, with 49% of all grades at A*-B. We are sending students off to a range of exciting Post 18 destinations, including top Russell Group universities and apprenticeships.

This cohort of young people have faced enormous disruption to their learning over the past three years, not least the fact that Year 11 ended for them abruptly in March 2020 and they continued to learn in and out of lockdown for much of their time in Sixth Form. This makes their achievements even more impressive and a testimony to their resilience.

There are so many great results and destinations to celebrate and we congratulate all our Year 13 leavers. Some individual success stories and achievements are highlighted below.

As always, we are inspired and impressed by the high number of our students who will go on to study medicine and health related degree courses, ready to offer their knowledge and skills to help others. Many of these students are going on to study at the prestigious Russell Group university, King’s College London.

Principal Carrie Senior said: "I could not be more proud of this cohort of young people. They have demonstrated incredible resilience and to have performed as they have makes me so profoundly impressed. We at HGAED wish them the very best for the future. Congratulations to them all-and a huge thank you to the teaching and pastoral staff and all our families who supported this cohort so phenomenally through the challenges of the last few years."
