Academy DJs mix with stars at Number 10

Our own DJs mix with Gary Barlow, Fearne Cotton, Chris Moyles, the Prime Minister and others at Number 10.

After a successful 2011 for HGAED’s very own professionally trained radio presenters – Connect – in which the collective interviewed the likes of several chart topping artists including Example, Wretch 32, Yasmin and several others, they began the New Year with a bang.

To kick off 2012 the Connect girls – Ayomide Owoyemi-Peters and Chinaza Onyechi – were invited on behalf of Connect and Reprezent to The Children In Need drinks reception at 10 Downing Street.

The event was in celebration of raising £26,332,334 in 2011 which broke all previous records for the appeal night total.

The girls mingled with the stars – Take That member and X Factor judge Gary Barlow, Radio 1 DJ and TV presenters Fearne Cotton and Chris Moyles, as well as Peter Andre,  just to name a few. And of course the Prime Minister himself was present.

The event altogether was a “truly great way to begin another successful year together as FM presenters,”  commented Chinaza.

You can listen in to the Connect girls live on Reprezent Radio every Thursday from 5 till 6pm on 107.3 FM.
