Students Celebrate GCSE Exam Results Success

We could not be prouder of our 2023 GCSE students and all they have achieved. This year as examinations returned to normal, and Ofqual confirmed that grades would be lower, our students have performed exceptionally well.

Our provisional Progress 8 score is 0.65+ with 27% of grades at Grade 7+. Students have continually demonstrated HGAED values of character and courage, demonstrating resilience and grit to achieve the very best grades possible.

We are so proud of their achievements and thank our expert teachers for passing on expert knowledge and instilling confidence in our students that everything is possible.

Key Stage 4 results 2023

The average Progress 8 score of Southwark schools is 0.34, which is one of the best in the country. We are incredibly proud that our students perform beyond this and have done consistently. Our curriculum is ambitious for all students and this can be seen with our EBacc entry at 92%, 52% higher than the national average.
