Emotional Drama Showcase for Year 11
The Summer term is often an emotional time in Drama as the Year 11s complete their GCSE journey with assessed performances and the final written paper.
On the afternoon of April 26th, the students performed extracts from a range of plays, all of which promote the importance of independence for women.
May 9th saw the end of the course for the 13 students. The written paper was completed by three o’clock that afternoon. If there was any evident emotion, it would be that of relief. Some of them are going on to A level Drama courses at other colleges and sixth forms and all of them have exciting plans for the future. Good luck one and all!
