Apprenticeship Insights from Alumni, Tobi Bello

TobiAs part of National Apprenticeship Week, our Sixth Form students had the privilege of hearing from Tobi Bello, a former HGAED student who is now thriving as a Technology Analyst at Accenture.

Tobi returned to share her journey from Sixth Form to securing a competitive apprenticeship, offering invaluable insights into the application process, challenges, and rewards of choosing this career path.

Her engaging and interactive session with Year 12 and 13 students highlighted the realities of apprenticeships in the tech industry, the skills required, and the benefits of earning while learning. Tobi’s story was a fantastic example of how apprenticeships can be an alternative route to success, combining practical experience with professional development.

Her talk not only inspired students to consider apprenticeships as a viable option but also provided practical tips on standing out in applications and interviews. A huge thank you to Tobi for taking the time to support and motivate our Sixth Formers!
