Handball team trains with England

The Harris Bulldogs were given the opportunity train alongside the England women and England schoolboys handball teams last week, with their very own dedicated coach, Anne Patterson and development officer Ari Bekker.

The girls were truly amazing. They (and I) learnt so much! The coaches were incredible with the girls and they really enjoyed themselves. They took a real shining to Billie, Enya and Leanna, the future could be bright for them!

The girls were so excited with the new skills and tactics that had learnt, that they wanted to put them to the test and challenged the England School boys/Newham Flames to a match!

They got slaughtered, but they did score one consolation goal (the girls went wild!).

The coaches were so impressed with our girls attitude and have offered us a monthly training slot.
