Uniform & Equipment

You'll want to know all about the uniform and where to buy it. This page has everything you need to know.

Students at Harris Girls’ Academy East Dulwich are expected to wear the uniform in its entirety to the Academy on all occasions. The Academy uniform is an important part of our collective identity and sense of community. It is important that students present themselves as ambassadors of the Academy at all times including when they are in public places or travelling to and from the Academy.

Where can we buy the uniform?

Our supplier, Stevensons ( has confirmed that the uniform will be live on Stevensons' website from Monday 13th July. You will be able order the school jumper and also skirts/trousers/blouses if you wish.

All HGAED customers will receive a FREE delivery on all orders that cost £50 or more. However, unfortunately there is a significant delay on the school blazer and PE Kit. We know that this will be a real disappointment but is beyond our/Stevensons' control. Due to this, we have postponed the fitting event scheduled for Tuesday 11th August. We’re likely to run this on the afternoon of Thursday 17th September when there is a Year 7 Information Evening scheduled anyway.

This means that uniform expectations for the Year 7s starting in September have had to be amended for the first half term. Please do ensure that your daughter is fully prepared with the following for her first day on Thursday 3rd September:

  • Blue Academy jumper from Stevensons
  • Black pleated skirt or black trousers
  • White open neck blouse
  • Black shoes
  • Plain white or black socks
  • Plain tights – black or tan only
  • Plain black or dark navy blue outdoor coat
  • Suitable PE kit (shorts/track suit bottoms and a T-shirt with trainers/socks)

Monday 2nd November will be the first day back after the October Half Term break and by this point Year 7s will also expected to be equipped with their school BLAZER and the academy PE Kit.
