School Day Timings - September 2022 Onwards

As we move to a phase of fewer Covid restrictions, the academy is reviewing the timings and duration of the school day for September. We propose that the academy day will revert largely to the timings and structure that were in place pre-pandemic.

In general terms, this means that morning lessons will begin 8:40 for all pupils and the final taught lesson of the day will end at 3:10 for Years 7-10. Post 16 pupils and Year 11 pupils will have some period 6 lessons that end at 4:10. The academy will continue to have split breaks and lunches for KS3 and KS4/5.
