Year 7 Talk the Talk Workshop: Confidence in Action
This term, our Year 7 students took part in the Talk the Talk workshop, delivered by the Jack Petchey Foundation. It was a brilliant opportunity to build confidence, strengthen communication skills and develop self-belief.
From the very beginning, students approached the day with curiosity and enthusiasm. They explored how to speak clearly, listen thoughtfully and express their ideas with confidence. It was wonderful to see them encouraging one another, stepping outside their comfort zones and growing in self-assurance.
The progress made in just one day was genuinely impressive. By the end of the workshop, students were speaking with pride, sharing their thoughts with clarity and celebrating their achievements together.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 7s and grateful to the staff and facilitators who made the day such a success. It was a powerful reminder of what our students can achieve when they are given the space to grow and the support to thrive.
