Celebrating British Science Week
This week we have been inspired by British Science Week. Our wonderful Science department have run a series of engaging events and experiments for our students, including dramatic experiments at lunchtime on the driveway! Thank you to the Science department for their hard work preparing excellent opportunities for our students.
Mr Grocott and Mr Ibrahim presented this week’s assembly in celebration of British Science Week. The theme this year is ‘curiosity’ and the importance of asking questions that lead to experiments, data collection and ultimately breakthroughs. The Science department are running a competition for all students to enter where students propose an invention to improve society. This can be an invention to improve medicine, technology, space or nature. The deadline for entries is Monday 16th March 2026. All entries should be submitted to Mr Grocott.
