Happy International Womens Day!

Happy International Women's Day!

This year's theme is Give To Gain emphasises the importance of giving to others and in return developing our character, courage and conscience. At the academy we are celebrating International Women's Day with our annual aspirational careers dress up day. Our students have the priviledge of hearing from a range of inspirational female leaders in industry, from PWC, Royal Opera House, BBC, Civil Servcie, Barclays, BDO, AD Architects and many more.

I asked our staff why they choose to work in an all girls' school and this is what Ms Noah had to say....

Every day I walk through the school gates,
I see courage, hope, and dreams taking shape.
A place where your voices begin to grow,
And your confidence starts to glow.
I watch you lead with kindness and grace,
Building strength that no one can erase.
To be part of your journey, step by step,
Is a privilege I’ll never forget.

And here’s a truth I want you to know—
When we choose to give, we choose to grow.
Every seed of kindness that you sow
Blooms brightly when you help it grow.
So water your gifts, nurture your light,
Keep shining, showing courage, keep choosing right.
Because with care and belief in what you can do… you can pay it forwards
The possibilities are endless—
and they all start with you.

Wishing you all an empowering International Women's Day.
