Welcome & Introduction
Welcome to the Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich transition section. If you're starting at Harris Girls' Academy in September, this section is for you! It should help you to find out more about what it's like to be in Year 7, and what to expect.
Find out more about:
- Finding your way around
- Learning at HGAED
- Extra-curricular opportunities (eg clubs and trips)
- What Year 7 students say
- Feeling safe and getting support
But first, some of our teachers would like to introduce themselves to you.
Meet Ms Senior, Principal
Meet our Principal, Ms Senior. She's been at our school for four years now and is really looking forward to welcoming you.
Meet Ms Young, Vice Principal
"I have worked at Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich for 10 years and I am very pleased you have chosen to come to our wonderful academy.
Our school prides itself on giving everyone the opportunity to be the best version of themselves, academically and personally and I am sure you will make friends for life when you come here.
I teach Mathematics (which I LOVE) and I hope to welcome you into one of my classes in the future.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you all!"
Meet Ms Robson, Vice Principal
"I am responsible for safeguarding, behaviour, pastoral support and attendance which basically means that it is my job to make sure that you are safe, happy and like coming to school.
We are very lucky to have a whole team of people to support and help you with any worries that you have which means that you can concentrate on coming to school and focus on enjoying your learning and extra curricular activities.
We can't wait to meet you when you get here!"
