What a fantastic trip to Harry Potter World with our Year 7's! The day was filled with magic and wonder, as they entered the fictional universe. The snow edition has really got us in the mood for winter at HGAED!

Students Give Presentation about Rye Lane at LSE

LSE Rye LaneA few months ago, researchers from the London School of Economics visited our academy to deliver a workshop to students on the work of social scientists, looking in particular at the cultural and economic life of Rye Lane.

The team were so impressed with our students that they then invited them to come into the university to deliver a presentation on the topic.

Amy and Henry worked closely with these students to prepare them for this and yesterday they gave their presentation, which you can download here.

"When the time came for their ‘big moment’ they presented their research with great aplomb," said Henry Langdon, Harris Experience Coordinator. "Suzi Hall of LSE had some very kind words to say and compared the quality of their research, analysis, arguments and oratory to that of her MSc students – no mean feat."
